Job description

The Product Manager - Browse & Integration is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for the Princess Cruises website browse experience, ensuring guests can easily discover cruise vacations, destinations, itineraries, and offers from the homepage through the top of the booking funnel. This role owns the website browse product roadmap and serves as the Product Owner for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), partnering closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering, UX, and Analytics.

The role also owns the product strategy and requirements for website pixeling, tagging, and client-side integrations, ensuring the website is properly instrumented to support analytics, Integration, consent management, customer insights, experimentation, and the integration of third-party web technologies delivered through client-side tags and pixels.

Responsibilities: 

  • Browse Experience Product Management: Own the browse experience across the Princess Cruises website, including the homepage, destination pages, promotional landing pages, campaign experiences, and other pre-booking discovery capabilities. Define the product roadmap, prioritize enhancements, and deliver features that improve discoverability, merchandising effectiveness, guest engagement, and conversion while balancing customer needs, commercial priorities, and technical considerations.

  • Adobe Experience Manager Product Ownership: Serve as Product Owner for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), defining product requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and improving content authoring capabilities. Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Content, and Engineering teams to enable reusable components, efficient publishing workflows, governance, and scalable content management across the Princess Cruises website.

  • Integration, Pixeling & Tagging Strategy: Own the product strategy and roadmap for website pixeling, tagging, and client-side integrations. Define the business requirements that enable analytics, audience segmentation, Integration, consent management, customer behavior tracking, and the deployment of third-party web technologies. Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Architecture to ensure integrations supporting platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud, FullStory, Optimizely, Osano CMP, Salesforce, and future web capabilities are implemented consistently, securely, and in accordance with enterprise standards.

  • Cross-Functional Product Delivery: Collaborate with UX, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Merchandising, Marketing, Analytics, and Commercial teams to translate business objectives into product roadmaps, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs. Participate in Agile planning ceremonies and support successful delivery of website releases.

  • Website Measurement & Capability Enablement: Partner with Analytics and Engineering to define website instrumentation requirements, maintain the integrity of customer journey measurement, and ensure pixeling and tagging frameworks support current and future website capabilities. Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and the ability to rapidly deploy new web technologies through standardized integration patterns.

  • Scope:  The Product Manager - Browse & Integration owns the strategic direction and ongoing evolution of the Princess Cruises website browse experience and Adobe Experience Manager platform. The role influences customer acquisition, merchandising effectiveness, and digital engagement by defining product capabilities that support content management, discovery, Integration, and website instrumentation. Working across multiple business and technology organizations, the role ensures the website remains scalable, measurable, and capable of supporting current and emerging digital technologies through standardized pixeling, tagging, and client-side integrations.

  • Problem Solving: This role regularly evaluates competing business priorities, customer needs, technical constraints, and platform capabilities to determine the optimal product roadmap. The Product Manager must assess integration approaches, establish instrumentation standards, balance short-term commercial requests with long-term platform sustainability, and ensure new website capabilities can be measured and integrated efficiently without creating unnecessary technical complexity.

  • Impact: The role directly influences the effectiveness of the Princess Cruises website as the primary digital acquisition channel. Decisions made within this role impact guest discovery, merchandising, Integration, website measurement, third-party technology integration, and the organization's ability to deploy new digital capabilities quickly while maintaining governance and data quality.

  • Leadership: This position provides product leadership across cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Analytics, Marketing, Merchandising, Architecture, QA, and Digital Experience. The role influences priorities across multiple stakeholder groups, facilitates product decisions, and ensures alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.

Essential/Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Lead by example by 'respecting and protecting' the health and safety of yourself and others 
  • Ensure your team and colleagues speak up report all accidents, 'near miss' incidents and work related ill health conditions
  • Help your team follow HESS rules and procedures by promoting the HESS Golden Rules

Essential experience required:

  • Experience managing digital products supporting customer-facing websites.

  • Experience serving as a Product Manager or Product Owner within Agile delivery environments.

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Analytics and Adobe Real-Time CDP.

  • Experience defining business requirements for website pixeling, tagging, client-side integrations, and digital measurement.

  • Familiarity with web technologies supporting Integration, analytics, consent management, and customer behavior tracking.

  • Experience translating business objectives into product roadmaps, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Experience working with Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering, UX, and Analytics teams to deliver customer-facing web capabilities.

Travel:   Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects, or operations.

Physical Demands: Remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time, reasonable adjustments will be offered.

**This position is classified as "in-office."  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Princess location in South Florida, WA Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.
