Job description

Overall Objective:

The Fusion Developer designs, builds, deploys, and supports workflow automations and system integrations that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency across the agency.

Adobe Workfront Fusion is our primary automation platform. Direct Workfront and Fusion experience is highly valued, but we will also consider candidates with strong transferable experience building sophisticated automations and integrations across complex enterprise systems.

The role receives defined business requirements and independently determines how the technical solution should be architected, built, tested, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and optimize workflow automations and integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Build complex automation logic including routing, conditions, data transformations, mappings, and exception handling.
  • Integrate Workfront and other enterprise applications using APIs, webhooks, connectors, and related technologies.
  • Troubleshoot automation and integration issues and implement appropriate monitoring and error handling.
  • Ensure solutions follow established standards for governance, security, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Document automation architecture, logic, dependencies, and support requirements.
  • Partner with business and technical teams during requirements clarification, testing, deployment, and adoption.
  • As knowledge of the agency grows, identify and recommend additional opportunities to automate repetitive administrative work.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and building sophisticated workflow automations and system integrations.
  • Experience working with complex enterprise applications, data models, object relationships, and system dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data mapping and transformation, conditional logic, and error handling.
  • Ability to take a defined business requirement and independently determine how the automation should be technically architected and built.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new enterprise platforms and underlying data structures quickly.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

Highly Valued / Preferred:

  • Adobe Workfront Fusion experience.
  • Adobe Workfront platform experience.
  • Experience with comparable automation or integration platforms such as Workato, Microsoft Power Automate, Boomi, Make, Tray.io, n8n, or similar technologies.
  • Experience integrating enterprise operational, financial, media, CRM, or other business systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or scripting technologies.
  • Advertising, media, or marketing-technology experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered.
