Job description

Northgate Resorts owns and manages the most awarded Camp-Resort portfolio in the nation. Our passion is creating family camping memories for our guests – memories that will last a lifetime! We don’t do this as individuals, but as a passionate team that cares about making a difference in our guests’ lives. We endeavor to be a highly effective, lean, and fast-moving organization.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily directives of our Maintenance staff. This is a Full-Time position and reports to the Facilities Manager.

DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administrative Duties
    • Comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures
    • Complete required reports on a timely basis
    • Assist with scheduling staff, monitoring payroll, and maintaining compliance with labor budget
    • Participates in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the department
  • Daily Duties
    • Monitor and maintain the condition of the Camp-Resort’s facilities and equipment
    • Respond to maintenance requests on time
  • Other Essential Duties
    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from start to finish
    • Collaborate with park and home office departments
    • Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
    • Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines
    • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
  • General maintenance, construction experience required
  • Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water and sewage treatment, machinery operation, general maintenance, and janitorial skills are preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
  • Valid driver’s license
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Regularly move throughout the park
  • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
  • Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
