Job description

TEKsystems has a need for Third Shift Supervisor to support a small IT support / Service Desk Team. This team provides L1 and L2 IT support for end-users all over the world. This is a entry-level management role for an Operations Team. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overall proficiency and efficiency of team operations for the shift they lead. This role is team focused, customer focused and productivity conscious.

100% Onsite - Louisville, KY

Wednesday-Saturday 9pm-7:30am EST

12 month contract to hire.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as main point of contact, leading team through resolutions of escalation and protocols
  • Ensuring team is appropriately staffed for volume of calls, emails and events – driving customer support
  • Training / Developing team members
  • Providing actionable feedback to team members
  • Submitting paperwork/audits on time to corporate office
  • Team building, coaching, counseling and discipline for teammates

Qualifications

  • 2 years in leadership within a customer service / call center environment
  • Passionate problem solver/out of the box thinker
  • Self-starter / “Can do” attitude, with a calm demeanor in all situations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work some holidays as required*
  • Some experience within Information Technology (routers, servers, printers) would be a “nice to have” but not a must.
  • Some travel may be required*

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
