Previous Credit Union or Banking Call Center and/or Teller experience highly preferred.
MUST PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, CREDIT CHECK & DRUG SCREEN.
MUST have SOLID WORK HISTORY - Job hoppers will not be considered.
Must be OUTGOING, and Conversational._
This is an ON-SITE position.  

  • Answer all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner. Ensure facilitation of first call resolution and member service satisfaction in all transactions.
  • Identify opportunities and enthusiastically offer credit union products that best fit and serve the member’s needs. Achieve goals set forth by the Credit Union.
  • Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing prompt, reliable and courteous service when assisting members with financial transactions and services. Meet all performance and member service standards.
  • Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary membership information.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and services. Maintain an up-to date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations, including robbery procedures.
  • Process member transactions and member’s phone and mail requests. Initiate calls to members to assure quality service.
  • Interview loan applicants and insure that accurate, complete information and documentation is received and provided to applicant prior to forwarding the application to a loan officer.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma required.
  • Call Center experience highly preferred including multitasking in an inbound call center.
  • Financial Institution experience highly preferred.
  • Maintain a consistently positive, helpful attitude with internal and external members. Act with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and provide outstanding service. Must be service driven.
  • Ability to abide by Credit Union's Service Mission and Promises.
  • Present a polished, professional image regarding conduct.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with members and co-workers.
  • Ability to proficiently use a personal computer and applicable software employed by the Credit Union.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and highly engaged environment. Must be decisive and offer logical solutions.
  • Must be able to interact with multiple online systems while speaking to members.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to cross-sell Credit Union products and services effectively and accurately.
