Job description

Crosspoint Human Services is seeking an energetic, dependable, and creative leader to supervise the operations and teaching staff of our DCFS licensed Early Learning Center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys modeling new approaches for existing teaching staff, engaging with parents, and collaborating with other community providers.

THERE IS A SIGN ON BONUS FOR THIS POSITION.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Marketing the Center to maximize enrollment
  • Timely submission of State required documentation
  • Accurate reconciliation of attendance and billing to increase the financial sustainability of the Center
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. To 5:30 p.m.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in child development or early childhood education with Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential, 3 semester hours in childcare administration, leadership, or management, or 3 points of credential-approved training in childcare administration, leadership or management.
  • Knowledge of DCFS licensing standards, CFACFP, and CCAP
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
