About the Role

We are actively hiring Call Center Representatives to join our Annuities team at DXC.

In this role, you will provide high-quality service and support to customers, agents, and broker/dealer representatives regarding annuity products and policies. You will respond to inquiries by phone and email, research and resolve complex questions, process transactions, and navigate multiple systems to provide accurate and timely solutions.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong listening and communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping customers are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, agents, and broker/dealer representatives via telephone and email, providing professional and timely support.

  • Research and resolve questions related to fixed and variable annuities, including policy provisions, application and contract discrepancies, processing delays, and status inquiries.

  • Educate Financial Services Representatives on annuity products, processes, market requirements, and contract provisions.

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently while tracking requests through completion.

  • Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.

  • Navigate multiple systems and applications to research information and provide complete, accurate responses.

  • Follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and contribute to team and business objectives.

  • Adapt to changing priorities, processes, and business needs while maintaining service quality and productivity.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.

  • Ability to obtain a FINRA Series 6 license within 90 days of hire, based on the applicable training plan.

  • Strong customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong listening, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to adapt to change and adjust priorities based on business needs.

  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • College coursework, professional certification, or relevant technical/trade training.

  • Experience in insurance, annuities, financial services, or a related industry.

  • Previous call center or contact center experience.

  • Familiarity with insurance or financial services products and related administrative processes.

  • Ability to quickly learn and develop knowledge of products, processes, and functions across areas such as administration, claims, underwriting, and marketing.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer inquiries and follow through to resolution.
