Job description

Job Description
  • Lead CAFM activities for PTME Assembly : current year plan, budgeting for future years, prioritization of operational requests, alignment of projects with operations Mfg Eng leaders, recommendations for funding approvals.
  • Subject Matter Expert for the Inv Eff process in Global PT ME Assembly

Responsibilities
  • Business Control Center Review and Master Schedule leader for PT ME CAFM and Investment Efficiency deliverables
    • Lead the Inv Eff Roadmaps
  • Document the standard Global PT CAFM and Inv Eff process (owner of process) and incorporate improvements
  • Interface with GME (MSAP, VME, APD), Operations (PTO), Mfg Finance, Purchasing on CAFM/Investment Efficiency Processes
  • Coordinate Inv Eff benchmarking process and plans for Global PT ME (commodity teams responsible for data collection/analysis and action plans)
  • Manage the Investment Efficiency database with internal and external benchmarks
    • Manage benchmark process of external companies (automotive/non-automotive)
    • Manage benchmark process of OEM suppliers
  • Support closed loop process of incorporation of CAFM / Inv Eff lesson's learned into MDS/SDS/BoD/BoP
  • Lead effort to identify opportunities to re-use equipment from external sources
  • Support reviews of the PT ME database of equipment available for re-use (pre-FAME)
  • Lead the Standard Cost Catalog process
  • Teach and Coach the Inv Eff / CAFME process across the Global PT ME organization Lead interface with Mfg Finance on Capital Improvement Budget (annual)
  • Position will be based in Dearborn, Michigan

Qualifications
  • Engineering or Business Degree Required
  • Mfg Engineering experience (10 yrs)
  • Engine /Transmission/Axle/PDU process knowledge
  • Experience in program costing
  • Presentation skills for both management and working level
  • Skilled in data analysis and data mining
  • Servant Leadership
