Job description

General Cafeteria Worker position for assignment at Torrington Intermediate School (grades 4-6) for 27.5 hours per week (8:00am - 1:30pm daily)
Applicants should have general kitchen skills and be able to lift 40-50 pounds. Must be able to communicate well, get along with a variety of personalities and be willing to work hard.
Terms of Employment: 10-month schedule, 182 work days.  Salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement is $18.93 per hour.
INTERNAL APPLICANTS: Regular employees of the Torrington Public Schools who are current members of the Cafeteria Workers union. (This does not include substitutes or Paraprofessionals.)
