Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 2+ years
Visa: Any Visa / TN accepted
Onsite: Yes

Must Have: Cable Routing, Cable layout design, Background in Rail/Solar/Oil & Gas Only

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Expertise in Cable Routing and AutoCAD
  • Background in Rail, Aerospace, Solar, Oil & Gas
  • Must have designed (not just known) cable routing for complex systems
  • Integration experience assembling multiple subsystems
  • Familiarity with electrical substations, equipment rooms, TPSS/subsystems, transformer design, or similar
  • Must be senior-level, able to support an ongoing project with minimal learning curve

Manager Notes:

  • Rail-wayside experience is preferred and strong cable routing/design skills are needed
  • Candidates from solar panel, TPSS, or power plant sectors are acceptable
  • Integration and routing ability across systems is critical
  • Role leans heavily toward design-not just testing or theory
