Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a CNC Laser Operator for our client. This position is responsible for all components produced with high accuracy, quality, and efficiency, directly impacting the overall production output and product integrity. The operator will interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up and adjust machines, monitor the cutting process, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines based on job orders and technical drawings.
  • Load materials and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting dimensions and quality.
  • Monitor the laser cutting process, making real-time adjustments to optimize performance and prevent defects.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality assurance, measuring dimensions and verifying compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC laser equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve cutting processes.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years' experience required
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to laser cutting operations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
  • Certification in CNC machine operation or laser cutting technology.
  • Experience with programming CNC laser machines using CAD/CAM software.
