About the Role

Adecco is assisting an established manufacturing client in recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Machine Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC professional who has strong programming and machining skills and is committed to producing quality precision parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience programming and operating CNC vertical mills and CNC lathes, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality inspections, and optimizing machining processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate various CNC Vertical Mills and CNC Lathes.
  • Develop and modify CNC programs using Mastercam, including 5-axis programming applications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform machine setup, tool changes, and program adjustments to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain specifications and tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
QualificationsRequired
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating and programming CNC Vertical Mills and CNC Lathes.
