Title: CNC Laser Programmer
Location: Dallas, TX
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift : 1st Shift | 6a till 2:30p
Compensation: Up to $35/hr (Based on Experience)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Laser Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, editing, operating, and optimizing CNC laser cutting machines used to produce low-volume, high-quality precision sheet metal components. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Amada laser cutting machines and is comfortable making machine adjustments to ensure optimal cut quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Job Duties:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting machines.
  • Call up, edit, and optimize CNC programs directly at the machine.
  • Load, organize, and position raw materials for production.
  • Adjust machine parameters including speeds, feeds, assist gases (O/N), focus, and other cutting settings to achieve optimal part quality.
  • Produce low-volume precision parts while maintaining tight quality standards.
  • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, cut quality, and burr-free edges.
  • Troubleshoot machine, programming, or cutting issues and make process adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and preventative upkeep.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience required setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines.
  • Strong experience programming and editing CNC laser programs at the machine.
  • Experience with Amada laser equipment strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of laser cutting parameters, including speeds, feeds, assist gases, and material-specific settings.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience producing precision sheet metal components in a manufacturing environment.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
