Summary of Position

The Business Process Analyst will work on company processes to develop and implement process improvement recommendations that satisfy business unit functions while maintaining a vision for future needs.

Essential Job Requirements
  • Conducts research and analysis throughout the organization to understand workflows, processes, data collection, reporting needs and other technical issues associated with business processes and application software such as NICE, OnBase, MaxTrac, and Vidado
  • Works directly with business lines throughout the organization to assist in determining business requirements. Makes recommendations for appropriate solutions, develops, and evaluates new processes to achieve improved operational productivity
  • Gathers requirements to capture business processes using both existing process documentation and process walkthroughs with the staff performing the processes
  • Writes business requirements, change requests, test plans, and training documentation
  • Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) for all site enhancement releases
  • Serves as business liaison between Operations and the Technical teams, communicating with the developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and the business process owners to answer any questions that arise during the development and testing of an automated solution
  • Works closely with software developers to understand and assist with the creation of their solution design, ensuring they deliver a solution that meets the business requirements
  • Communicates effectively with personnel by simplifying detailed process information
  • Develops and enhances business knowledge and skills that align with the changing business needs
  • Prioritizes needs, handles matters expeditiously and proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Pursues learning and self-development through attending relevant training courses, job shadowing, and mentoring.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience is required

Required Experience
  • Two to five years of experience with business processes, project management, and process improvement techniques
  • Professional experience with Excel, Word, and Visio
