Job description

Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry, is hiring a Business Process Improvement Analyst to join our Finance-Accounts Receivable team. This role will serve as a seasoned Business Analyst primarily focused on driving process standardization and automation in order to improve or eliminate manual processes and deliver consistent outputs that can easily be consumed into reporting solutions and analytical products to deliver consistent, a actionable information and insights across the enterprise for business and functional support areas. The ideal candidate will be researching and implementing new standards and best practices in the descriptive analytics while developing and optimizing execution strategies to accomplish the team's goals. This role will have a high level of involvement and communication with Operations, Finance, Accounting, and other leaders.

This position can be based out of the following Jack Henry office locations: Springfield, MO., Allen, TX., Lenexa, KS., or could move to a remote-work arrangement upon training completion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics and process improvement.
  • Must experience using Excel with any of the following: Macros, VBA, Power Pivot.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% to attend Jack Henry meetings that may be in another Jack Henry office location.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Economics, Accounting.
  • Experience in PowerBI, Tableau, Experienced in SharePoint, PowerApps, MSFlow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Researches, analyzes, creates, and maintains applicable Policies & Procedures.
  • Manages department processes to ensure compliance and that deadlines are met.
  • Defines, documents, and publishes processes. Observes existing practices across multiple departments with similar functions and looks for opportunities to optimize practices and processes.
  • Supports collection and interpretation of business information.
  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Performs Impact Analysis of all recommended changes and standards. Presents and defends recommendations to mid-management and senior level management.
  • Interrelates KPIs and adjusts business variables to improve the effectiveness of the measurements used.
  • Analyzes trends and provides correlated studies of potential changes and outcomes.
  • Participates in post-project reviews to determine effectiveness, pertinence and timeliness of newly recommended processes. Identifies processes that are effective and works to change processes in need of further refinement.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Analyzes high volumes of data from multiple sources.
  • Tracks the appropriate market space.
  • Performs Cost-Benefit and other forms of analyses.
