Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Position Overview
A well-established and growing engineering and surveying firm is conducting a confidential search for a Project Surveyor / Survey Project Manager (Florida PSM). This role combines field and office responsibilities and provides direct exposure to technical surveying work and operational leadership. The position includes mentorship from senior leadership with a path toward increased responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and oversee surveying work in both field and office environments
  • Manage survey crews, scheduling, and project coordination
  • Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and project economics
  • Support survey department operations and planning
  • Work on complex survey projects including ownership determinations and right-of-way analysis
  • Perform encumbrance mapping based on title research
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of deliverables
  • Develop understanding of legal and professional liability in surveying
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Florida Registered Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) required
  • 5–10+ years of surveying experience
