Job description

Zoom Tan, America's fastest growing chain of tanning salons is seeking to hire a Facilities Project Manager to be based at their corporate office in Naples, Florida.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the construction and renovations of locations, managing the on-going facility maintenance needs for our 90+ multi-state locations, and sourcing vendors and negotiating service contracts.

Maintenance needs consist of general facility upkeep and repairs as well as the preventative maintenance and on-going repairs of equipment. Must be a self-directed and motivated individual able to produce efficiency and improve the effectiveness of the team to support the needs of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

As a Facilities Project Manager, your primary duties will include you exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to the following matters of significance which are directly related to the management and general business operations of Zoom Tan and its customers

  • Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities.
  • Plan budgets and schedule facility upgrades as needed.
  • Coordinates construction and installation processes.
  • Meet with trades vendors and landlords to organize all construction projects.
  • Manage equipment receipt and installation.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC.
  • Responsible for the communications functionality in all locations.
  • Interact with area maintenance technicians in multiple states.
  • Ensure adherence of staff members to all Zoom Tan policies and procedures.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Attend all assigned meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
  • Experience with supervision and direction of maintenance trades.
  • Knowledge of building codes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Computer proficiency
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Prior experience with retail, foods, or fitness locations preferred
  • 57 Years Facilities Management experience with multiple locations (50+ preferred)
