Job description

Are you a natural-born leader who loves managing hard-working teams? We need an experienced project manager to manage Modular Data Center projects and oversee subcontractors and integrators to ensure their work is high-quality, finished efficiently, and within the predetermined budget.

Compensation:

$100,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Clarify the scope with clients, engineers, construction managers, and architects to produce an accurate list of project specifications, including manual labor needs and necessary materials
  • Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
  • Secure any required licenses and permits from appropriate authorities to ensure construction is up to code
  • Work with general contractors, critical subcontractors, and external vendors to negotiate profitable contracts
  • Schedule construction operations and create a construction timeline to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget
  • Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports
  • Manage general contractors and construction workers and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality project performance

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields
  • Experience using construction or project management software preferred
  • Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus
  • 5+ years of experience as a construction project manager or telecommunications / data center project manager
