Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fitness facility/facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional member experiences, efficient business operations, staff leadership, and achievement of operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with a passion for health, wellness, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management Oversee day-to-day gym/studio operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and operational standards Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies Monitor inventory levels for fitness equipment, supplies, retail products, and amenities Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor relationships Team Leadership Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front desk staff, trainers, and support personnel Foster a positive, high-performance team culture Conduct employee performance reviews and provide coaching and development Ensure staff compliance with operational procedures and customer service standards Member Experience Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve member concerns promptly Support member retention initiatives and community engagement efforts Monitor member feedback and implement service improvements Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating environment Financial & Administrative Oversight Assist with budgeting, payroll, and expense management Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including membership growth, retention, revenue, and labor costs Prepare operational reports and analyze business performance Support sales goals and membership promotions Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations Maintain emergency procedures and incident reporting processes Enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and risk management standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field preferred 3-5 years of management experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or service industries Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing teams and operational budgets Proficiency with scheduling, POS, CRM, and membership management systems CPR/AED certification preferred Desired Skills Strong customer service mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Data-driven decision-making abilities Conflict resolution and team-building skills Passion for fitness, wellness, and community engagement Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in an active fitness environment
