Job description

Position Summary
The Business Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting field operations by serving as a connective point between Corporate Business Operations, Accounting, and Division leadership. This role focuses on enabling efficient execution through strong systems support, process coordination, data visibility, and administrative structure by independently analyzing operational processes, resolving non-routine system and workflow issues, and recommending improvements that impact billing accuracy, labor visibility, and operational performance for assigned locations and divisions.
While the role reports into Corporate Business Operations / Accounting, its day-to-day impact is operational-ensuring jobs are set up correctly, workflows move forward without friction, and teams have the tools, information, and support they need to operate efficiently.
The primary objective of this position is to support the opportunity-to-cash process by improving operational flow, data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination between the field and corporate teams through independent problem solving, data analysis, and process improvement recommendations that influence operational and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations Process Support
  • Support job setup, maintenance, and coordination in the ERP system in partnership with Division Managers
  • Assist with weekly billing preparation by ensuring job data, tickets, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate
  • Monitor workflow status for tickets, timesheets, and approvals, proactively following up to keep processes moving
  • Serve as a systems and process support resource for Operations within ERP
  • Independently resolve non-routine system and process issues impacting job setup, billing, or labor tracking
  • Recommend changes to workflows, controls, or system usage to improve efficiency and data integrity

Administrative Team Support
  • Assist Division Managers with ticket setup, scheduling coordination, and dispatch support
  • Organize and schedule meetings, site coordination, and operational touchpoints as needed
  • Prepare recurring reports, presentations, and training materials

Financial Compliance Support (Enabling Function)
  • Help maintain consistency and accuracy in data used by Corporate Accounting (without direct A/R ownership)

Knowledge, Skills Abilities
  • Strong understanding ofbusiness operations, systems, and workflow coordination
  • Experience working within ERP, timekeeping, or operational systems
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to analyze information and identify process improvements and efficiencies
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new tools, systems, and technologies
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

Education Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude, systems experience, and operational exposure may be considered
