At Ott, we help protect the world's water resources by delivering connected monitoring solutions that empower better decision-making. As part of Veralto, you'll contribute to meaningful, real-world impact while accelerating your career in a purpose-driven, global organization.

About The Role

Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Business Operations Manager will scale our rentals business as a productized service.

This is a high-impact role where you will redefine how the business operates end-to-end-from order intake to asset return-driving improvements in revenue, profitability, asset utilization, and customer experience.

You'll succeed in this role if you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building structure where none exists, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Interested?
Bring your builder mindset. If you like ambiguity, love turning messy workflows into scalable systems, and want your work to matter in the real world, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Driving operational and financial performance of the rentals business (utilization, margin, revenue growth)

  • Designing scalable processes across the full rentals lifecycle (order fulfillment tracking maintenance return)

  • Building and optimizing inventory & asset management systems

  • Defining and evolving the rentals portfolio (bundling, lifecycle, positioning)

  • Creating and executing pricing strategies aligned to market dynamics

  • Implementing SOPs to standardize operations globally

  • Partnering with Sales to enable growth and support large opportunities

  • Improving quality, turnaround times, and service reliability

  • Building capability frameworks for technicians and defining capacity models

The essential requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, Operations or related)

  • 5+ years in a people management role

  • Strong experience in operations or process optimization roles

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of data-driven decision-making

  • Experience working cross-functionally in complex, matrixed environments

Why join us?

  • Work on a business with high visibility and direct impact on growth

  • Opportunity to build and scale something-not just maintain it

  • Global exposure within Veralto's network

  • Strong career growth and development opportunities

  • Purpose-driven mission: Safeguarding the World's Most Vital Resources

Ott is proud to be part of the environmental business within the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5.5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
