Job description

The Program Manager / Business Analyst will serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert in driving large-scale, data-driven transformation across Asset Management. This role goes beyond project execution - it demands the ability to shape program strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and architect scalable solutions that align data capabilities with long-term business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings deep asset management domain expertise, a track record of delivering complex enterprise programs, and the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a seasoned professional ready to lead from the front.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Program Leadership
  • Own and drive the end-to-end strategy, execution, and delivery of enterprise-scale data-driven programs across investment management and operations
  • Define program vision, structure multi-workstream initiatives, and establish governance frameworks that ensure consistent delivery across cross-functional teams
  • Anticipate and resolve complex program risks and interdependencies; make independent decisions on scope, prioritization, and resource trade-offs
  • Champion adoption of program management best practices and continuous improvement across the Data & Technology organization
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leadership across business, technology, and data functions
  • Lead steering committee presentations, executive briefings, status updates with confidence and clarity
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, navigate organizational complexity, and drive alignment across competing priorities
  • Act as a senior escalation point for program issues, facilitating resolution across business and technology leadership
Senior Business Analysis & Process Transformation
  • Lead discovery engagements with senior stakeholders to surface strategic business challenges and define transformational solutions
  • Architect current-state and future-state process models for complex, end-to-end asset management workflows spanning portfolio management, order management, risk, and client reporting
  • Drive requirements definition for large, ambiguous initiatives - decomposing strategic objectives into actionable workstreams, epics, and user stories
  • Serve as a subject matter authority on how data flows, integrates, and creates value across the investment lifecycle
  • Influence data strategy and platform decisions, contributing domain expertise to long-term technology and data roadmap planning

Skills & Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree with 8+ years of progressive experience in business analysis and program management, with significant tenure in asset management or a related financial services environment
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide data and technology programs with high organizational complexity
  • Deep expertise with financial market data, including security master, benchmark, corporate actions, and reference data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint; strong command of project and process documentation standards
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to translate complex technical and data topics for senior business audiences and vice versa
