Job description

The Role

Triangle Compounding Pharmacy (TCP) is hiring a business development professional to open new physician relationships across North Carolina's longevity, functional medicine, and men's health markets — and close them. This is a full-cycle field sales role: you build your own pipeline, run your own meetings, negotiate your own terms, and bring partnerships across the finish line.

The clinical side — peptides, NAD+, bioidentical hormones, USP compliance — is real, and we'll train you on it. But the job itself is sales: prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, closing. Once a partnership signs, you keep ownership of the relationship, while day-to-day clinical support shifts to TCP's pharmacist and account team, keeping your time focused on growing the territory.

What You'll Do

●        Build and manage a structured pipeline of longevity, functional medicine, and integrative health practices across the Triangle and beyond

●        Prospect proactively through in-person outreach, industry events, and physician networking — this is a relationship- and field-driven sales motion, not inbound or digital lead follow-up

●        Build and present tailored preferred-pharmacy proposals; negotiate pricing, service levels, and clinical support terms

●        Own your CRM pipeline: clear stages, conversion tracking, forecasting

●        Report pipeline health and market intelligence to leadership regularly

What You'll Need

●        3+ years in B2B business development, healthcare sales, medical device/pharma sales, or physician liaison work, with a proven track record of building pipeline and closing deals from scratch in a healthcare or clinical setting — this is the non-negotiable

●        Strong consultative sales instincts: reading a prospect's needs and building a proposal around them

●        Comfortable presenting technical/clinical information to physicians (we'll train you on the clinical content — peptides, NAD+, HRT, USP compliance)

●        Self-directed; able to run a territory independently

●        Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular field travel

Nice to Have

●        Existing relationships with clinics, medspas, or providers in NC

●        Background in specialty pharmacy, medical aesthetics, or pharmaceutical sales

●        CRM experience

Company Description

About Triangle Compounding Pharmacy
Triangle Compounding Pharmacy (TCP) is an independently owned, 503A-licensed compounding pharmacy serving patients and prescribers across North Carolina and beyond. Triangle Compounding Pharmacy was the first PCAB-accredited pharmacy in North Carolina and the first 503B FDA-registered outsourcing facility. We specialize in personalized, non-sterile compounded medications — including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, pain management, dermatology, men's health, pediatric formulations, and an expanding longevity product portfolio that includes NAD+ therapy, oral peptide protocols, and custom ED formulations.
We are in an exciting period of strategic growth. The board has approved an ambitious expansion into the longevity pharmacy space, including new product categories, a new BD function, a clinic partnership program, and new oral solid dosage capabilities. As we scale, we need an experienced operational leader who can build the infrastructure, systems, and culture to support that growth — while solving the real operational challenges we face today.
We specialize in custom sterile and non-sterile compounding for patients whose needs simply aren't met by commercially available medications. Our work spans hormone therapy, pain management, weight loss, veterinary care, pediatric formulations, and more — each prescription made specifically for the individual patient, not the average.
With ISO-certified clean rooms, rigorous quality standards, and a pharmacist-led team that has earned the trust of providers and patients across multiple states, Triangle Compounding is where precision and personalized care come together. If you're looking to bring your skills somewhere that genuinely raises the bar — and where the work you do matters — you've found the right place.
