Job description

Business Development Research Associate
Location: ONSITE, Reston, VA
The Business Development Research Associate is a growth-focused member of the Business Development team assisting with market research and business capture. This role provides hands-on support for business development and capture activities. You will attend industry events, research opportunities, update and keep current BD tracking tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research and identify new opportunities across target federal agencies
  • Monitor GovWin, SAM.gov, and other opportunity sources
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy and hygiene (updates within 24 hours)
  • Attend industry events and capture new leads
  • Execute persistent follow-up on all contacts
  • Prepare meeting materials, briefings, and opportunity summaries
  • Support proposal development and other Growth initiatives as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Related Experience:
  • Research and identify new opportunities across target federal agencies
  • Monitor GovWin, SAM.gov, and other opportunity sources
  • Perform opportunity research to help determine strategic fit and priority
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy and hygiene (updates within 24 hours)
  • Attend industry events and support BD staff in identifying and documenting new opportunities
  • Perform outreach and follow-up on opportunity contacts to schedule calls and meetings
  • Support proposal development and other Growth initiatives as assigned
