About This Opportunity

Hiring a Business Developer Manager to grow strategic referral partnerships across the Omaha market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, face-to-face networking, and turning trust into revenue.


Assignment Details


Pay: $55,000/Year plus 5% of revenue brought in

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM– 5:00 PM (occasional after hours and weekends)

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities


Your focus will include (but is not limited to):

Developing and managing an assigned territory of referral partners such as:


o Plumbers and plumbing supply houses

o HVAC companies

o Property managers (HOA, multi-family, commercial)

o Insurance agents and adjusters

o Roofers, inspectors, and other industry influencers

  • Conducting daily in-person marketing routes and follow-ups
  • Hosting and attending Breakfasts, Lunch & Learns, CE classes, and networking events
  • Acting as a consultant and trusted advisor, not a salesperson
  • Driving qualified, warm leads into the company pipeline
  • Representing United Water Restoration at trade shows, community events, and industry functions
  • Logging all activity, contacts, and leads in the CRM accurately and consistently
  • Supporting brand awareness through light social media content and partner engagement
  • Participating in marketing meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance check-in
Requirements:
  • Highly personable, professional, and confident in face-to-face environments
  • Comfortable walking into businesses, starting conversations, and following up
  • Organized, accountable, and consistent with CRM usage
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Self-motivated with a long-term mindset for relationship-based sales
  • Results-driven but people-first

Preferred Requirements

  • B2B sales, field marketing, or business development
  • Home services, restoration, construction, plumbing, HVAC, or insurance
  • Networking groups, trade organizations, or community outreach

Performance Expectations

  • This role is activity-driven and results-measured. Success is clearly defined.

First-Year Revenue Target:

  • TBD at in-person meeting

Minimum Ongoing KPIs:

  • 3+ marketing routes per week
  • 4 Breakfast/Lunch & Learn events per month
  • 2+ networking events per month
  • 3+ social media touchpoints per week
  • Consistent CRM documentation

You’ll be provided with a scorecard and structured training to support these goals
