Position Description:
We're growing rapidly and are looking for a Business Analyst in our Oil & Gas sector.
This position is located in our Houston, Texas office with work performed at client site in Houston, Texas however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be at client site at least 3 days a week.

This role is responsible for identifying and analyzing business needs, translating them into effective solutions, and acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. The position requires strong analytical thinking, a user focused mindset, and the ability to quickly adapt to evolving technologies, while driving clear communication, influencing outcomes, and contributing to process improvements that manage risk and maximize business value
Roles and Responsibilities:
. Link technical solutions with business strategy when working with business partners
. Work with stakeholders on activities and create opportunities to build trust and make stakeholders feel valued
. Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non functional requirements and translate into functionality.
. Assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact. Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
. Create / update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project lifecycle. Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs through testing and scope changes, to final solution. Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and database design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.
. Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control Business Analysis activities on projects within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality.
. Complete business analysis on projects. Configure and document software and processes. Define and coordinate testing.
Mandatory Skills and Considerations:
. Must be in the office mandatory 3 days or more
. At least 10 years of corporate IT experience, including 4 years as an IT Business Analyst
. Strong knowledge of Trading and Supply
. Extensive experience with Endur
. Proficiency in Cmotion, Deal Capture (Front Office), Settlements & Accounting (Back Office), and/or Tax
. Skilled in business analysis techniques and tools
. Experience working on Agile projects

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $139,300.00.
