Job description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with an expertise in enterprise web site development to support dot com sites. The Senior Business Analyst will have responsibility for performing detailed analysis and documenting business requirements and system impact to ensure the successful delivery of website initiatives. The Senior Business Analyst must have knowledge of the capabilities of website development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • 70%
    • Work with constituents across the organization to understand current processes, systems and opportunities and capture requirements for new processes, systems, user interfaces and user experiences through various methods, including to but not limited to requirements gathering sessions, interviews, surveys, workshops, etc.
    • Collaborate with vendor partners and internal team members to communicate needs and requirements and determine appropriate solutions.
    • Advise on best practices.
    • Document current and future state in various forms including functional requirements, user stories, wireframes, interface designs, workflows, swim-lane diagrams, presentations, etc. for appropriate audiences including C-Level, business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • 20%
    • Collaborating with IT Development (onshore/offshore) and QA to ensure appropriate and adequate system testing is performed.
    • Facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • 5%
    • Providing guidance, reviewing work and providing feedback to other team members.
  • 5%
    • Performing other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong experience and demonstrated ability to document web-based systems, and perform analysis and design using various methods, including: business requirements, functional specifications, user stories/acceptance criteria, use cases, swim lanes, and process flows, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, and mock-ups/wireframes.
  • Experience with visually modeling requirements.
  • Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with documenting requirements for integrations between enterprise systems.
  • Strong experience in business process design and workflow analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and execution of IT Standards, Policies and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of Information Security Practices.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies & Tools.
  • Experience in working with multiple data sources and ERPs.
  • Understanding of best practices with Digital User Interface designs and User Experience.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is a plus.
  • Experience in building Marketing, Sales and Ecommerce sites is a plus.

  • Google Suite and Lucid Charts knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Sitecore is a plus.
