Sales Business Analyst
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking a Business Analyst to support business leaders through data-driven insights, reporting, and analytics. This position will partner with operational, commercial, and leadership teams to develop reporting solutions, analyze business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate actionable recommendations. The role reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate, timely, and insightful reporting and analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Qlik.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand reporting needs, define problem statements, and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze sales, operational, and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.
  • Calculate, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to business unit leaders.
  • Support budget volume and revenue reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Translate complex technical and business data into clear and actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Manage and maintain reporting platforms, SharePoint sites, and business reporting tools as needed.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements related to reporting, analytics, and data management.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design, automate, troubleshoot, and improve reporting solutions.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other technologies to enhance analysis efficiency and reporting development.
  • Provide routine project updates, communicate timelines, and support cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Agribusiness, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in business analytics, sales analytics, finance, reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with reporting and data analysis tools preferred.
  • Experience with QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms preferred.
  • Ability to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend business improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and validation skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with leadership, operations, sales, finance, and IT teams.
  • Meat, food production, or food service industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $75,000-$85,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
