Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Project Director to join our team. The Project Director will be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a series of projects within a designated customer account, market space, or geographic area in concert with the company's strategy, commitments and goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the strategic aspects of large engagements with multiple projects and mitigates any risk.
  • Oversees Senior Project Managers and Project Management Teams working on customer projects.
  • Reviews high-level deliverables across the projects.
  • Ensures quality assurance procedures take place for all projects.
  • Provides leadership to project teams within a customer account, market segment or geographic area.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains sound business practices.
  • Develops and implements strategic objectives for his/her team that are aligned with the Business Unit's strategic initiatives.
  • Reports profit and loss figures for his/her assigned area of responsibility.
  • Consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across his/her assigned area of responsibility.
  • Helps create project forecasts and the broad-based financial picture for assigned area.
  • Addresses and resolves all billing issues.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree AND 15+ years of Relative Experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of Relative Experience.
  • Education/ Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP),
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Experience Preferred: 15 years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
  • Communicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
  • Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Maintains lasting customer relationships.
  • Ensures assigned teams deliver superior solutions to customers.
  • Provides senior level resolution to customer issues.
