Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring a part-time Bulk Food Packaging Team Member to work at our Distribution Center!  

Availability: Part-time, up to 24 hours a week.  

Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30am-5pm

Pay: $17.00 hourly 

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked


 Bulk Food Packaging Team Member's Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process, prepare, package, and label all incoming store bulk orders for outgoing shipment to stores.
  • Perform repetitious work, and maintain quality and consistency throughout repetitious packaging.
  • Place accurate and timely orders.
  • Understand and perform applicable KWF inventory management functions.
  • Ability to learn inventory management systems.
  • Support other DC functions such as putting away and picking items within Apothecary, Grocery, and Perishable.
  • Assists in other areas as needed.

Requirements

Physical Capabilities:

  • Ability to safely use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks/lifts, handheld scanners, etc.
  • Full Sense Range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) - The ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with co-workers. 
  •  Standing & Walking - Ability to stand, walk at least 8 hours.
  •  Stooping, Squatting, & Kneeling - Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, climb, bend and reach.
  •  Lifting, Gripping and Carrying Objects - Must be able to lift 50lbs - 70lbs
  •  Hand/Finger dexterity - Single unit grasping, case pack grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
  •  Work Environment - Movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather than sedentary (sitting). 
  • Climate - Ability to work in a temperature environment ranging from -10 degrees (freezer) to 34 degrees (cooler) to 90 degrees (ambient summer) Fahrenheit and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
