We are now hiring a part time Medical Records Assistant to join the Laurel Park team!
Salary Range: - $22.00 per hour

Are you ready to be an essential part of our team and help maintain the integrity and organization of medical records?
As a Medical Records Assistant, You Will:
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of patient and resident medical records.
  • Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with all healthcare regulations and policies.
  • Organize and file medical documents in a systematic manner for easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist with data entry and updating of medical charts, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information is recorded.
  • Help prepare medical records for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Must Have:
  • 0-1 years of previous experience in medical records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of nursing/medical practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of ICD coding.
  • Experience with PointClickCare or similar electronic health record systems.
