Regional Sales Rep Fiber, Community Activation, & Outbound Sales
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary
Centric Fiber ("Centric") delivers industry-leading high-speed internet through Centric Fiber. Centric is rapidly expanding into new regions through a growth model that combines infrastructure innovation with high-impact community activation.
We are seeking a highly motivated, adaptable, and performance-driven Hybrid Regional Sales Representative to join our Houston team.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who can drive high-volume outbound sales activity while also serving as the face of Centric in the field through community activation, builder relationships, and local market development efforts.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and is equally comfortable making repetitive outbound calls, attending community events, supporting market activations, and converting hot leads into closed sales.
This individual must bring grit, sales hunger, and field adaptability, helping Centric maintain immediate sales production while supporting long-term community growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
High-Volume Sales Production
  • Execute high-volume outbound sales calls daily to drive new customer acquisition
  • Consistently meet or exceed call, conversion, and monthly sales KPIs
  • Follow up rapidly on inbound and warm leads to maximize close rates
  • Maintain disciplined activity levels across calling, follow-up, and pipeline management
  • Build a strong sales funnel through persistent outreach and local networking
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion and capture rates within assigned communities

Community Activation & Market Development
  • Represent Centric at community events, activations, presentations, and local outreach efforts
  • Build relationships with builders, realtors, HOAs, property managers, and community stakeholders
  • Gather builder sales projections, move-in timelines, and local market intelligence
  • Support launch strategies for new neighborhoods and community expansions
  • Help generate hot leads through in-person visibility and local relationship development
  • Serve as a trusted face of the brand from initial contact through service activation

Cross-Functional Execution
  • Track all sales activity, call metrics, and customer interactions in CRM systems such as HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with marketing, dispatch, and operations to ensure smooth activation and install coordination
  • Stay informed on competitor offerings, market shifts, and local development activity
  • Flex between phone-based selling and field execution based on business priorities

  • 2+ years of sales experience in high-volume outbound, telecom, utilities, fiber, D2D, retail energy, or similar environments
  • Proven success hitting activity-based KPIs and quota targets
  • Strong verbal communication and objection-handling skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and community events as needed
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Reliable transportation for community visits and local activations
  • Willingness to travel moderately within Houston and surrounding markets

  • Telecommunications, fiber, natural gas, ISP, solar, D2D, or utility sales
  • Experience balancing inside sales and field activation responsibilities
