About the Opportunity


We are seeking a high-potential Assistant Manager for an exciting emerging leadership role in South San Francisco. This position is specifically designed for a driven Assistant Manager or developing General Manager ready to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with the current General Manager, gain hands-on operational experience, and participate in structured leadership development to prepare you for full General Manager responsibility.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong QSR or fast-casual background who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is eager to grow into store leadership. You’ll play a key role in daily operations while building the skills, knowledge, and team impact needed for long-term success within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Assist with all aspects of daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, shift management, and seamless guest service execution.
  • Team Leadership: Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance development for hourly team members to elevate overall team performance.
  • Quality & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, brand protocols, and operational systems.
  • Financial Awareness: Learn and contribute to labor management, inventory control, and cost-control practices to drive profitability.
  • Guest Experience: Model exceptional hospitality standards and help create a consistently welcoming, efficient, and service-focused environment.
  • Leadership Development: Actively participate in structured training and mentoring programs designed to prepare you for future General Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Strong background in QSR or fast-casual restaurant concepts is strongly preferred.
