About AI Nexus NYC & C10 Labs
In partnership with NYCEDC, C10 Labs is operating AI Nexus in NYC - bridging the gap between ideation and commercialization for early-stage AI-first healthcare, BioTech, energy, climate, robotics and manufacturing startups.
C10 Labs' NYC AI Nexus accelerator is a rigorous program providing startup founders and academic researchers with mentorship, in-house AI specialists, expert-led workshop series, office space in Manhattan, engineering and GTM support, $200K+ in partner perks, access to C10 Labs' network of investors, potential customers and top talent, and more. Select startups may also receive up to $300K in investment from C10 Labs' venture fund.
Role Overview
AI Nexus NYC is seeking experienced HealthTech Venture Advisors to support a growing portfolio of AI companies operating across healthcare, digital health, biotech, therapeutics, clinical workflows, life sciences, and research infrastructure.
This role is designed for healthcare operators, founders, executives, clinicians, innovation leaders, and industry experts who want to work directly with early-stage companies and help accelerate growth.
Advisors will partner with founders and venture teams to provide strategic guidance, facilitate introductions, support customer discovery, create pilot opportunities, and accelerate commercialization efforts.
What You'll Do
  • Advise founders and early-stage companies on healthcare market dynamics, product strategy, commercialization, and industry adoption
  • Facilitate introductions to health systems, providers, payers, pharma organizations, biotech companies, research institutions, investors, and potential customers
  • Support portfolio companies with pilot design, customer discovery, partnership development, commercialization efforts, and go-to-market strategy
  • Provide expertise across clinical workflows, healthcare operations, digital health, life sciences, reimbursement, enterprise sales, and adoption
  • Participate in founder office hours, advisory sessions, venture reviews, workshops, and AI Nexus programming
  • Help identify strategic partnerships, customer opportunities, pilot programs, and commercialization pathways for portfolio companies
  • Act as a connector within the NYC healthcare and life sciences ecosystem
  • Support venture teams as they move from concept validation to pilot execution, customer acquisition, and commercial deployment

Who You Are

Equity participation is intended to reward active engagement and value creation and may be awarded based on contributions such as:
  • Facilitating customer introductions that lead to pilots, enterprise engagements, or commercial relationships
  • Supporting fundraising through investor introductions, strategic relationships, or capital formation activities
  • Helping secure pilots, partnerships, customers, or commercialization opportunities
  • Providing strategic support that materially advances company growth, adoption, fundraising, or operational milestones
  • Contributing expertise, relationships, and ecosystem access that accelerate venture outcomes
