Job Description Seeking a Propulsion Systems Sub System Technical Manager support role. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support for all integration activities and interface for all issues (cost, timing, program planning, launch support, program resolution, etc) Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another related Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university or equivalent 5+Years experience Design, development, and program management experience in broad powertrain functions and/or vehicle engineering in any of the following areas: engine, transmission, driveline, packaging, adaptation, controls, or calibration Demonstrated high leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills Proficient in MS Office applications Demonstrated understanding of the Company product development processes, design validation, Key Process Indicators (KPI), and gate processes Demonstrated team building skills Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, and to work with minimal direction (ability to understand and complete next steps without guidance) Preferred Requirements: Master of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another related Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university or equivalent or Master of Business Administration Degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent Experience and understanding of the vehicle cost process Experience with the ER&D roll-up process Experience with Change Notice (CN) and Common Change Document (CCD) process Significant knowledge of the automotive industry and competitive benchmarks Program life cycle experience Experience as a Resident/Quality Engineer at one or more manufacturing plants Additional Must Haves Demonstrated high leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated Travel is required (suppliers and WTAP) Location: Onsite CTC and WTAP Additional Information / Must have's: - Interpersonal skills, proven capability to build and maintain relationships with plant launch teams and indirect reports - Proven understanding of software and calibration for triage - Flexible hours, overtime permitted, up to 50hrs/wk depending on program milestones/deliverables.
