Job Description Commercial HVAC Service Technician Locations: Tampa & Miami, Florida We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Tampa and Miami. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert with strong commercial HVAC service experience who thrives in mission-critical environments where precision, reliability, and customer service are essential. Our technicians support high-profile healthcare, hospitality, and commercial facilities throughout South Florida, ensuring complex HVAC systems operate at peak performance with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on commercial and industrial HVAC systems Service and maintain: Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers Cooling towers Centrifugal pumps Large package units Trane IntelliPak systems Diagnose and repair hydronic heating and cooling systems, including chilled water loops and pumping systems Maintain and repair steam and hot water boilers (preferred but not required) Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences Troubleshoot DDC and pneumatic control systems Serve as a trusted technical resource for facility managers and building operators Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards Participate in an on-call rotation supporting a 24/7 commercial client base Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience required Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with chillers and cooling towers Solid understanding of: Refrigeration cycle Electrical systems and schematics Hydronic systems DDC and pneumatic controls EPA Universal Certification required Experience with manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, York, or Daikin strongly preferred Ability to work independently in fast-paced commercial environments Valid driver's license with clean driving record Preferred Experience Experience servicing hospitals, luxury hospitality properties, high-rise condominiums, or mission-critical facilities Boiler maintenance and repair experience Familiarity with South Florida's high-humidity and tropical climate conditions Physical Requirements Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, and in confined spaces Ability to lift equipment and tools as needed Flexibility to work rotating on-call schedules and overtime when necessary Why Join Us.
