Description of Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
• Manage, operate, and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any technical issues
• Keep precise records of procedures and maintain thorough documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technologies and imaging protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
