Work Type: Field Support / Onsite
Overview:
Seeking a Field / Computer Technician to provide break-fix support for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices in the metro area. This role involves hardware repairs, field service support, ticket management, and customer-facing technical support.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform laptop and desktop break-fix repairs
  • Replace hardware components including hard drives, motherboards, keyboards, and LCDs
  • Conduct full unit swaps and peripheral replacements
  • Support field service requests across assigned service areas
  • Update and close tickets in the service management system in real time
  • Provide professional customer support during onsite visits
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all service activities

Requirements:
  • 1+ year of hands-on desktop/laptop break-fix experience
  • Experience diagnosing Dell laptops and PCs preferred
  • Computer-building experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and Microsoft applications
  • Reliable vehicle and valid car insurance required
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to complete Dell certifications after selection

Preferred Certifications:
  • CompTIA A+ Certification

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel locally throughout the day
  • Comfortable with administrative and ticketing responsibilities
  • Ability to work overtime or extended shifts if required
