Job description

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong IT Technician with in-depth experience supporting end-user equipment and LAN equipment. This is a full-time, contract position working 100% onsite with a great team offering longevity and upward mobility!

The LAN Support Technician will be responsible for providing hardware support to end-users to ensure business operations and objectives can be met.

Duties:

  • Install and set up end-user hardware to include PCs, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Support LAN, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, including connectivity issues, performance problems.
  • Install and configure desktop applications. Ensure end-users have access to the tools and applications needed for their role. 

  • Provide break/fix support for desktop computers. 

  • Troubleshoot all hardware and software related issues, providing equipment replacements as needed. 

  • Support IT asset tracking and documentation. 

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on technical support of end-user equipment and local area networks 

  • Desktop and deskside support

  • Strong communication and collaboration.
