Trident Consulting is seeking a "Megasys Technician” for one of our client in " Fremont, CA "A global leader in business and technology services.


Job Title: Megasys Technician

Location: Fremont, CA 94538 (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $32/hr on W2

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 pm PST

Interviews: Onsite


Position Summary

Seeking a Gas & Chemical (Megasys) Technician to support gas/chemical systems, inventory, logistics, and equipment operations in a semiconductor/wafer fabrication environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage gas and chemical inventory, ordering, receiving, and shipments.
  • Handle and move gas cylinders and chemical ampoules using pallet jacks/forklifts.
  • Track and report gas usage and inventory levels.
  • Support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gas/chemical systems.
  • Perform cylinder and drum changes and equipment inspections.
  • Support emergency response, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain inventory, shipment, maintenance, and operational documentation.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Support preventive maintenance, projects, training, and sustaining operations.
  • Work with gas/chemical systems from various vendors and manufacturers.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience with gas or chemical systems, preferably in semiconductor/wafer fabrication.
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of gas/chemical handling and emergency response.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow strict safety and quality procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ lb. cylinders and ampoules.
