Job Summary
The Senior Social Media Manager is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for elevating the organization's presence across all social channels. This role oversees a team of two Social Media Managers and serves as the internal owner and day-to-day steward of corporate social media, senior leadership LinkedIn, and an additional brand account.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and data-driven decision-maker - someone who can zoom out to set vision and zoom in to execute with precision. As the #1 outdoor living solutions manufacturer in North America, this role will work with a diverse set of business leaders and be able to successfully translate concepts to action and influence.

  • This position is hybrid and located at our Corporate office in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two Social Media Managers, setting clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and accountable team culture.
  • Manage workload distribution across accounts and oversee day-to-day content calendars.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for approvals, brand decisions, and cross-functional alignment.

Senior Leadership LinkedIn - Agency Management
  • Own the strategy and output for senior leadership LinkedIn profiles, managed in partnership with an external agency.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and internal stakeholders, translating brand voice, business priorities, and executive narratives into compelling content briefs.
  • Review and approve all content before publication, ensuring accuracy, tone, and alignment with corporate messaging.
  • Track performance metrics and hold the agency accountable to defined goals and deliverables.

Corporate Social Media - Collaboration with Corporate Comms
  • Co-own the corporate social media presence alongside the Corporate Communications team, maintaining a consistent and unified brand voice.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Comms to align social content with broader communications strategy, press releases, and company announcements.
  • Manage content planning, publishing cadence, and community engagement across all corporate channels.
  • Serve as the social media subject matter expert in cross-functional content reviews and editorial meetings.

Brand Account Management
  • Oversee social media strategy and execution for an additional brand account, ensuring content is platform-native, audience-relevant, and brand-consistent.

  • Build and maintain a cohesive cross-channel content calendar.
  • Continue to evolve channel-specific playbooks, brand voice guides, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency at scale.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Define, track, and report on KPIs across all social accounts, including reach, engagement, follower growth, impressions, and conversions.
  • Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage data to continuously optimize content strategy, posting cadence, and channel mix.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and benchmark performance against industry standards.

Driving Results
  • Set ambitious, measurable performance targets in partnership with Brand and Social Media Managers.
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture, piloting new content formats, organic campaign ideas, and audience strategies.
  • Collaborate with paid media and performance marketing teams on social advertising strategies as needed.
  • Translate business goals into social-first campaigns that build brand equity and deliver measurable outcomes.

Job Requirements
  • 6+ years of social media experience, with at least 2 years in management or team lead role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing agency relationships and executive or leadership social profiles.
  • Deep platform expertise across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and emerging channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a sharp eye for brand voice and storytelling.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Communications, Brand, and Creative teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite.
  • Background in content strategy, editorial planning, or digital marketing.
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and budget management.
