Packer Fastener is seeking a full-time, Branch Support team member to join us at our Wausau Branch!
The Branch Support role is responsible for providing support to the branch based on the needs and guidance of the Branch Manager. These responsibilities will support the development and accomplishment of Packer's Strategy and Vision while promoting our company Swagger.

Primary Duties:
Sales & Customer Support
  • Partner with the sales team to support day-to-day customer needs and sales activities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and help identify solutions to meet their needs
  • Manage and expedite blanket orders for priority accounts
  • Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
  • Assist with quotes, order follow-up, product information, and other sales-related activities
  • Learn Packer's products, systems, processes, and sales strategies to become a trusted resource for our customers and team

Cross-Functional Branch Support
  • Communicate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, and discrepancies
  • Partner with Procurement, Warehouse, Inside Sales, and Outside Sales to ensure customer needs are met
  • Assist with order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, and inventory management
  • Perform local deliveries using a company vehicle
  • Service customers on-site, including bin stock and vending machine support
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer service, and branch efficiency
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects based on the needs of the branch

Qualifications
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Exhibits company Swagger.
  • Highly motivated, handle multiple priorities with high attention to detail, and strong time management skills.
  • Knowledge of product lines and pricing structure.
  • Ability to think critically and solve practical problems.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weighs 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
  • Proficient in common computer software including Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
