Initial training for this position will take place at the Landmark branch in Madison, WI before transitioning to the Sun Prairie location. Landmark will provide support for required travel associated with training in accordance with company policy.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Reports to the Regional/Market Manager. Oversees branch operations related to sales, service, security, and compliance. Develops new procedures and improves existing procedures to enhance the member experience within the branch. Responsible for hiring, training, development, coaching, and performance management of all branch staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. Prior management experience required with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a financial environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
2. Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and manage a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, organizational, and independent work skills.
4. Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
5. Working knowledge of core banking systems and platforms.
6. Must have, or be able to obtain, National Mortgage Licensing System registration (NMLS#) and be licensed, or be able to obtain licensure, to sell credit insurance.
7. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to the position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Fosters a culture of Belonging aligned with Landmark's vision, mission and values.
2. Manages branch staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, timecard approvals, performance management, coaching, and development.
3. Ensures members receive high-quality, efficient, friendly, and professional service while maintaining the organization's policies and procedures.
4. Resolves complex or unresolved member situations or escalates as necessary.
5. Develops monthly branch sales goals, educates and coaches associates on products and services, and monitors associate performance toward assigned goals, incentive systems, and contests.
6. Supports Landmark's community involvement and participates in community activities.
7. Responsible for the profitable operation of the branch within budget guidelines and established objectives, including cash control, cash flow, and accurate posting of all transactions.
8. Ensures the branch complies with security procedures and BSA/OFAC regulations and guidelines, including audit and risk management.
9. Acts as a loan officer within assigned approval limits.
10. May be required to attend training at headquarters or an off-site location.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
