Job description

L&W Supply, a world-class interior building materials and specialty products company, is seeking motivated, success-driven individuals to join its Accelerated Manager in Training Program. These associates will train to manage and grow an L&W Supply branch of their own. L&W Supply Branch Managers have the tools they need to be successful. They operate their branch in an entrepreneurial manner and have high earning potential.

Associates in the BMT Program receive on-the-job training in all aspects of branch operations, allowing them to learn from an experienced Branch Manager and their team. They also undergo comprehensive Branch Manager Training at L&W Supply's National Support Center. This training incorporates lectures, case studies, and guest speakers. When the training program is successfully completed, these associates are potential candidates to become Branch Managers.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and take responsibility for the branchโ€™s profit and loss accountability.
  • Hire associates and monitor their performance.
  • Maintain an adequate and accurate inventory as well as conduct inventory and cash control self-audits.
  • Set and monitor pricing and ensure an acceptable margin on sales.
  • Oversee outside and inside sales teams and ensure sales growth.
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction and ensure acceptable service levels and timely deliveries to customers.
  • Generate the associate work schedule and control overtime.
  • Determine additional products to add to the existing product line.
  • Ensure that company safety policies and DOT requirements are followed.
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
  • College degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, or another related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to relocate.
