Job description

Hotel General Manager – Luxury Lifestyle Boutique (Relocation Savannah, GA)

Are you a dynamic, up-and-coming hospitality leader with a passion for elevated lifestyle experiences? We are seeking a highly personable, hands-on Hotel General Manager to lead our stunning luxury boutique hotel located in a vibrant historic district. This is a rare opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to step up and take the helm of a highly profitable, intimate property. You will be the face of the hotel, ensuring an unforgettable luxury experience for a discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Holistic Operations: Oversee daily operations and financial performance for a highly successful, multi-million-dollar property, maintaining a strong balance between the rooms and culinary divisions.
  • F&B Guidance: Guide and direct a robust, high-volume F&B program across three unique on-site dining and lounge outlets.
  • Events Management: Manage a thriving internal catering and events operation that runs out of our existing spaces.
  • Rooms Division: Lead and oversee an intimate, highly profitable collection of luxury guest rooms characterized by a very high average daily rate.
  • Team Leadership: Provide vital mentorship, direction, and support to our Executive Chef and Director of F&B.
  • Guest Experience: Maintain a highly outgoing, guest-facing presence on the floor, utilizing the finesse required to elevate service standards for a $500+ per night demographic.
  • Staff Development: Train and supervise hotel staff across all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Brand Expertise: Specific leadership experience within Hilton lifestyle brands (e.g., Tapestry Collection, Curio) or Marriott lifestyle properties is highly preferred.
  • Operational Balance: A well-rounded background balancing both Rooms and Food & Beverage management. You must have the ability to guide F&B operations without needing to be a former Executive Chef or pure F&B Director.
  • Career Trajectory: This role is ideal for a hungry "up-and-comer," such as a current Assistant General Manager (AGM) or Director of Operations seeking their first true Hotel Manager/GM role.
  • Boutique Environment: Prior leadership experience in a small, luxury setting, demonstrating the flexibility and hands-on approach needed to run a tight-knit team.
  • Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of major tier-one corporate backend systems to successfully navigate our diverse dining, event, and room spaces.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $95,000 to $105,000 annual base salary + obtainable bonus.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and PTO.
  • Relocation: Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate to ensure a smooth transition.
