Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the overnight shift. This includes balancing daily financial transactions, running end-of-day reports, assisting guests with late check-ins or early check-outs, and ensuring the safety and security of the property during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with a strong focus on guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nightly audit of hotel revenue and reconcile daily financial activity.
  • Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports for management and accounting.
  • Check guests in and out, process reservations, and handle guest inquiries or complaints.
  • Monitor lobby and public areas to ensure safety and cleanliness during overnight hours.
  • Verify and balance charges, payments, and room rates in the property management system (PMS).
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and deposits accurately.
