Job description

Pediatric Therapies of SE GA, a pediatric OT, PT, and ST practice, is seeking a full-time in-house detail-oriented and skilled Bookkeeper to join our administrative and billing teams. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and demonstrate proficiency in Quickbooks and Excel. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable, and working closely with the accountant to prepare reports and assist with tax reporting. Your expertise will contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.
AS PART OF THE INTERVIEW/HIRING PROCESS, YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO INTERVIEW WITH OUR ACCOUNTANT TO ENSURE KNOWLEDGE IN EXPECTED AREAS.
Duties:
  • Maintain accurate financial records by performing general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports that provide insights into the organization’s financial position, including budget analysis and account analysis.
  • Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Familiarity with corporate accounting practices.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes.
