Location: Hybrid
Hours: This team works between 8:00am & 8:30pm ET.
Monday- Friday. Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm ET & 11:30am - 8:30pm ET at least once per week. Will not have to work late shift until up & running independently. Schedules are done monthly
JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE)
This is an intermediate position to support a highly performing, multi-process work team in the completion of consumer loan processing and servicing tasks related to loan origination; including documentation review, loan closing services and loan booking for Consumer Lending. The person filling this position will adhere to service levels and quality goals as well as departmental procedures. The incumbent will provide superior quality customer service while incorporating the essence of the Key Values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Effectively manage simultaneous loan closing process in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Transmit final loan documents to the branch or escrow agents for closings.
  • Perform follow-up action for outstanding title policies and review documentation for acceptability.
  • Prepare account correction letters and coordinate with peers to distribute to client.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for lost, missing, or incorrect loan documents (i.e. mortgages, deeds of trust, fixed rate consumer notes, etc.)
  • Identify scenarios under Reg B, Reg Z, Reg O requiring updated disclosures.
  • Book and review loans and lines of credit accurately and timely while communicating and providing direction to consumer teams to resolve issues and ensure proper lien filing.
  • Identify basic contradictions in documentation/booking requests and seek resolution for RM and/or Credit Officer.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve process efficiency, quality, and the client experience.
  • Apply basic accounting principles.
  • Effective management of work queues to ensure timely processing of tasks.
  • Answer client's basic questions and inquiries.
  • Initiaite inbound or outbound calls to varies parties internal and external to KeyBank.
  • Take the lead or participate in special projects (i.e. creation and management of procedural documents, working with system administrators on technical enhancements or testing, annual time study, etc.)
  • Commitment to and support of department in execution of business improvements and corporate initiatives.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves risk management and client service issues.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory and corporate mandates, audits, and exams.
  • Be able to communicate and understand loan origination functions from inception to funding.
  • Prioritize work for self and team.
  • Effective utilization of dual monitor environment.
  • Support of virtual team environment and cross-site partnering.
  • Best practice sharing.
  • Complete other miscellaneous job functions as assigned by Management.
  • Availability to work hours between 8AM and 8:30PM EST Monday - Friday.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience with knowledge of the banking or banking related industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows products.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make basic judgments/decisions and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced deadline driven environment while managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Open minded and adaptable to new ideas in a changing environment.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, to diffuse high-tension and volatile situations comfortably and with diplomacy.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.75 - $25.00 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
