Job description

Cybersecurity - Associate Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Cybersecurity - Associate Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join the team in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO.

The selected candidate will rely on Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) background to support Enterprise activities and Boeing customers throughout multiple computing domains. The Cyber Security Professional will be responsible for maintaining and implementing all Information System Security policies, standards, and directives to ensure assessment and authorization of information systems processing information.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures for a partner organization or sub program with defined requirements

  • Advise on routine compliant information, security and data protection requirements

  • Resolve acceptability of configurations and verify security parameter placement

  • Support investigation and resolution of routine security questions

  • Perform security compliance continuous monitoring supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • IAM Level 1 DoD 8140.01 (previously 8570.01) compliant certification (i.e. CAP, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC) or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months

  • Experience with cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs

  • Experience utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS

  • Experience assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cyber security compliance
