Senior Manager, Digital Launchpad Product Strategy

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Digital Launchpad Product Strategy - a strategic, action-oriented leader to drive product strategy and portfolio execution forDigital Launchpad, a portfolio of AI-enabled digital capabilities supporting the Boeing Defense business. This role will be a key position within the BDS Data Analytics & Digital Integration (DA&DI) organization in Hazelwood, MO, Arlington, VA, Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, Ridley Park, PA, San Antonio, TX, Tukwila, WA.

This role is responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and execution across a diverse portfolio of mission-critical digital products that enable operational excellence and accelerate modernization. The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, scalable solutions aligned with business goals-bridging product management, engineering, and stakeholder engagement.

This role will support end-to-end product lifecycle leadership-from stakeholder engagement and alignment, strategy definition to portfolio prioritization, development alignment, and deployment execution. This is a highly collaborative leadership role requiring both business acumen, development expertise, and operational rigor.

Position Responsibilities:

I. Product Strategy & Vision

  • Drive the definition and continuous refinement of theDigital Launchpadproduct portfolio vision and strategy aligned to BDS business priorities and needs

  • Identify high-impact digital capabilities addressing customer needs, future trends, and emerging technologies

  • Facilitate portfolio-level prioritization based on value, risk, and resource allocation

  • Partner with business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align on use cases, success criteria, and metrics for adoption and impact

  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to provide transparency on portfolio performance and inform strategy adjustments

II. Portfolio Execution & Lifecycle Management

  • Own holistic product lifecycle management for a broad set of digital solutions, ensuring cohesion and interoperability across platforms and applications

  • Develop and maintain detailed execution roadmaps aligned with strategic business goals, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term innovation

  • Facilitate prioritization of product features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability

  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops from users, data, and operational metrics to evolve and scale products

  • Champion scalability and maintainability of products by enforcing best practices in architecture, modular design, and documentation

IV. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to surface needs, evangelize value, and gain commitment for product initiatives

  • Partner with business and functional leadership on delivery cadence and roadmap execution with agile teams, balancing innovation with operational reliability

  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value stories and roadmaps

III. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with software engineering, UX, data science, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet high standards for quality, security, and scalability

  • Facilitate clear communication and prioritization across matrixed, managing dependencies and risk with a disciplined governance model

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline

  • 10+ years' experience in product management, product strategy, and roadmap planning for large digital product portfolios

  • 10+ years' experience leading software engineering

  • 5+ years' experience building and scaling distributed, cloud-based systems

  • 5+ years' experience with agile development

  • 5+ years' experience working with cross-functional and matrixed development teams, managing complex dependencies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery leadership

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or regulated environments

  • Experience with Palantir Foundry

  • Experience with cloud platforms, software architecture, and enterprise security considerations

  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration, data pipelines, and digital transformation initiatives
